Looking to get involved in conservation in addition to fishing? There are a variety of opportunities to give back to the sport you love:

Yes. If you are a fly fisherman or want to learn fly fishing, the Long Beach Casting Club is for you. If you live a sizable distance from Long Beach, you can become as Associate member and still take advantage of the Club’s on-line benefits and participate in trips that are geographically closer to you.

We have maintenance expenses in operating our clubhouse and pond, including utilities, insurance, supplies, etc.  The pond holds a lot of water and water levels need to be maintained to counter evaporation. Another ongoing expense is for high-level monthly speakers.  We also support conservation programs.

Absolutely. Our monthly meetings are open to the public and you are welcome to attend and bring a friend if you want. Meetings are on the last Thursday of the month, at 7:00 pm at the clubhouse. The only exceptions are April when we hold a business meeting to select a new Board and December when we host our traditional Christmas banquet.

The classes are free to everyone.  However, you may need to purchase some supplies, equipment or a reference workbook.
